The DeKalb Co. Master Gardeners are presenting a Spring Symposium "Wild About Spring" on Saturday, April 8. It will be held at the Exhibit Hall on the DeKalb County Fairgrounds from 8:45 am to 2 pm. The 2017 Spring Garden Series will take place Thursday evenings in April. Sessions will feature a tree pruning workshop, how to make hypertufa containers, leaf impression stones, and rain barrels. You are welcome to do all four sessions, or just the sessions of interest to you. Participants will make their own hypertufa container, leaf impression stone, and rain barrel during the workshops.

4-H Camp is a fun-filled adventure for youth in grades 3-6. Campers will spend three days and two nights with Teen Counselors and Adult Educators as they explore the outdoors, experiment with science, create unique crafts, and meet fellow 4-H'ers. There are limited spots available! Sign up early!
Featuring a series designed to spark the interest of 4-H members in grades 3-12 in animal anatomy and biology. This six-hour series will focus on dissection of multiple species within the animal kingdom. Specimens include simple invertebrates to more complex vertebrates. Youth who want to explore hands-on biology will confirm what they have learned about the features and functions of cells, tissues, and organs as a result of actively participating in this series.
