State Fair Entries: One entry per level

GREEN RECORD BOOK COMPLETION REQUIREMENT
• Complete a Shelby County Record Sheet.

EXHIBIT GUIDELINES:
• See Poster Guidelines on Page 62 of the Shelby County Handbook.
• See Notebook Guidelines on Page 62 of the Shelby County Handbook
• Display Boards differ from a poster in the that real objects are normally used rather than drawings or pictures. Three-dimensional items are attached to the board
• The subject matter content for the exhibit must correspond to the subject matter content found in the Specific Level’s Manual or lower.

Level A (Grades 3 & 4)
Manual:Starting Up: Getting to Know Your Tractor (4-H 961)
Choose one of the following:
• Poster
• Notebook Report
• Display Board

Level B (Grades 5 & 6)
Manual:Tractor Operation: Gearing Up for Safety (4-H 962)
Choose one of the following:
• Poster
• Notebook Report
• Display Board

Level C (Grades 7, 8 & 9)
Manual:Moving Out: Learning About Your Tractor & Farm Machinery (4-H 963)
Choose one of the following:
• Poster
• Notebook Report
• Display Board

Level D (Grade 10 - 12)
Manual:Learning More: Learning About Agricultural Tractors & Equipment (4-H 964)

TRACTOR DRIVING CONTEST
• To enter the Tractor Driving contest, you must be enrolled in the Ag Tractor project.
• There are 2 areas of competition: Lawn & Garden Tractor & Agricultural Tractor. These are divided into 2 divisions - Junior (grades 3-7) and Senior (grades 8-12).
• Participants will be scored on a written exam, parts identification and tractor operation in each contest. Lawn Tractor will also perform a safety check.
• The Ag Tractor Junior contestants will pull a 2-wheel trailer approximately 8’ wide x 10-12’ long. Senior contestants will pull a 4-wheel wagon with a bed approximately 8’ by 14’.
