Summer is right around the corner! As a 4-Her in high school you have the opportunity to participate in 4-H Camp as a counselor. This year's 4-H Camp will happen at Camp Shakamak on June 11-13, 2018. Around 200 kids from Boone, Hendricks, Marion, Montgomery, and Tipton counties will come together for this three-day camp. Did you ever attend a camp and look up to the counselors? Now is your chance to be a counselor!
The following verbal communication events and activities are offered to 4-H members as a way to teach presentation and public speaking skill development. 4-H members can prepare a talk in any of these areas. See the website for specific rules. At the county level Cloverbuds (K-2 grades) can participate by saying the 4-H pledge, short poem or something of similar length to get them comfortable speaking in front of others. Throughout the year different opportunities for 4-H'ers are available relating to animal science. We will share those opportunities here on the website, some will be hosted by 4-H while others are community events that may be of interest to our members.

Fashion Revue is a chance for 4-H members in the consumer clothing, sewing, and wearable arts projects to model their creations. This year both private revue (judging) and public revue (awards) will be held on June 18, 2017.
