In an attempt to better communicate 4-H opportunities to members and volunteers, each Monday you will receive a 4-H weekly update. This will replace our monthly newsletters. Any items of interest that you would like to share through the update or on social media can be sent to Cara Kowal at email@example.com.
Throughout the year different opportunities for 4-H'ers are available relating to animal science. We will share those opportunities here on the website, some will be hosted by 4-H while others are community events that may be of interest to our members.
Information on 4-H projects offered in Marion County, including exhibit requirements for fair. This page includes individual and club projects and a link to exhibit tags to use for Cloverbuds, at township fairs, and as place holders on posters.
This is the form for 4-H members and/or volunteers to complete if they would like to be considered for a scholarship to a 4-H event or training. If approved, the Marion County 4-H Council will reimburse 50% of the program fee after the individual attends the event. More than 50% or prepay may be decided upon if there is a finical need. Events can include, but are not limited to: 4-H Congress, Citizenship Washington Focus, Area VI Judges and Leaders Clinic, 4-H Round Up.
Volunteers will be needed both before and during the fair to make sure the fair is a great experience for our 4-H families and the public. Please sign up for times you are available to help out at the links listed.
