The Lula Boone Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship named in honor of the first Extension Homemaker County President, Mrs. Glen Boone. Applicants for the Lula Boone scholarship must: Live in Madison County and be either a 2016 graduating senior or 2015 high school graduate. The Madison County Master Gardener Association has established a horticultural scholarship to provide post secondary financial assistance to high school seniors, who reside in Madison County and have declared intent to pursue a college major in horticulture or a related area in an accredited school.
