It has been reported that there are confirmed hits of Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) in Lake County. This insect ONLY affects ash trees, so all other species are safe. There are preventative treatments. If your tree is already affected, there are options to consider. If the tree's health has already started declining, it may be too late for treatment.
