The 2015-2016 Educational Lessons are scheduled.
For more than 100 years, youth and adults have stepped up to serve Hamilton County's communities. They are parents, teachers, coaches, school board members, elected officials, and community volunteers - leaders of all types in all places. Many honed their skills and cultivated leadership in the fertile programs offered by Purdue Extension Hamilton County. This special Extension partnership succeeds because of the financial support from program participants.
The 4-H Woodworking project is designed to teach members about the different types of woods and their specific characteristics, practicing proper safety precautions, learning and using different types of equipment and tools, as well as putting together the end product for exhibition.
4-H members may choose the 4-H club that fits their schedule or needs.
We believe in the present and its opportunities, in the future and its promises, in
everything that makes life large and lovely, in the divine joy of living and helping others,
and so we endeavor to pass on to others that which has benefited us, striving to go
onward and upward, reaching the pinnacle of economic perfection, in improving, enlarging
and endearing the greatest institution in the world, THE HOME.
Hamilton County 4-H Fair Dates - July 16-21, 2015
