Community Service and/or Floriculture Workshop Opportunity

Come help support the Tim Tebow Foundation next month for "A Night to Shine", a prom for people with special needs. Hittle Floral Design is donating time by making 150 boutonnieres and corsages, but will need some volunteer help. No experience needed- just an ability to follow directions! Volunteer groups will be paired with an experienced employee to create the boutonnieres and corsages. We will be putting everything together Thursday, February 6 from 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. in the Exhibition Center Hall A at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds. Volunteers may come and go as their schedules permit. Please view the following link for more information: https://www.timtebowfoundation.org/ministri…/night-to-shine…

For 4-H Floriculture participants, this workshop will teach you how to make corsages and boutonnieres. This opportunity will count as one of your project manual activities.

For 4-H Clubs, this could be a community service project for your participants.

If you have any questions, please contact Billie Jo Hittle, Floriculture Project Superintendent at: Hittle Floral Design- (shop) 317-900-2431, (cell) 317-513-7264, Billie@hittlefloraldesign.com, Facebook Hittle Floral Design. Volunteers may sign up on her FB page or just show up. Don’t miss this unique learning and volunteer opportunity!
