Indiana First Lady Visits 4-H Exhibits
First Lady of Indiana Visiting 4-H Exhibits at Indiana State Fair

Indiana 4-H proudly hosted Indiana First Lady Karen Pence on Tuesday, Aug. 5, as she toured thousands of exhibits created by 4-H youth and currently displayed in the 4-H Educational Complex at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

Grace Mears, an Indiana 4-H Exhibit Office Assistant and 10-year 4-H member from Carroll County, expertly guided the First Lady and her staff through such exhibits as photography, watercolor, cake decoration, rocket-building, poultry posters, and more. We’re honored that the First Lady made time in her busy day to observe some of the creative, informative work our 4-H kids are presenting this year.

Watch the video above to learn about the First Lady’s favorite exhibits, her advocacy of 4-H’s value to both Indiana’s youth and its economic development, and her advice to young 4-Hers.
