The Master Gardener Program is one way that the Purdue Cooperative Extension Service puts knowledge to work and helps people grow throughout Indiana. The Master Gardener Program helps gardeners grow by providing them with intensive training in horticultural principles.
The 4-H Dog Project provides youth a fun and hands-on learning experience that develops life skills, as well as teaches valuable information about properly caring for their animal.
Safe Food Handler's certification is available through a 2-day raining, re-certification review, and exam with the 'Serv Safe' curriculum from the National Restaurant Association.

The foods project is designed to help youth have fun in the kitchen as they prepare different foods, do fun experiments, and go on fact finding missions. There are six categories: healthy food selection, smart food purchasing, food safety and science, food preparation, food preservation and careers and food around the world.
This project contains exciting activities that focus on using the microwave to prepare everything from simple snacks to complete meals. Each learner guide has activities focused on: Techniques and Utensils, Nutrition, Food preparation, and Meal Preparation.
