Safe Food Handler's certification is available through a 2-day raining, re-certification review, and exam with the 'Serv Safe' curriculum from the National Restaurant Association.

The 4-H Horse and Pony Project provides youth a fun and hands-on learning experience that develops life skills, as well as teaches valuable information about properly caring for their animal. Subjects such as general management, training, nutrition, housing, and health care are presented in the curricular materials, through workshops and activities such as horse bowl, Hippology and judging, and in preparation of an exhibit.
The 2017-18 Indiana Beef Cattle Association (IBCA) and Purdue Extension Area 11 regional beef meeting is scheduled for January 4, 2018, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The 4-H Llama project (Llama & Alpacas) provides youth a fun and hands-on learning experience that developes life skills, as well as teaches valuable information about properly caring for their animal. an important objective of this project is for the 4-H member to experience the pride of owning/leasing a lama or alpaca, gaining it's trust and being responsible for its care.
