Washington County 4-H is hosting a Fitting & Grooming Workshop on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Washington County Fairgrounds and invites 4-H members in grades 3-12 to participate. 4-H members may choose three sessions to attend: Beef/Dairy Beef Cattle, Goats, Poultry/Rabbits, Sheep, and/or Swine. 4-H Livestock Superintendents, 4-H volunteers, and industry experts will demonstrate fitting and grooming practices during each session.
The workshop is free for Washington County 4-H members. Dinner is provided at 5:00 pm and all participants will receive a door prize. RSVP’s are required by Monday, May 22, 2023 via bit.ly/2023wkshp or by calling the Purdue Extension – Washington County office at 812-883-4601.
The workshop is not possible without many Washington County 4-H volunteers and financial support from Premier Companies.
