VINCENNES, Ind. – Purdue Extension will again be hosting the Purdue Sprayer School on January 31 to provide commercial and private farm applicators with training in field crop sprayer use and maintenance.
The school runs from 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (EST) at the Vincennes University Agriculture Center (4207 Purdue Road, Vincennes, IN), with lunch being included.
Topics will cover sprayer technologies, weed identification, mixing procedures and calibration, drift management and regulations, and machinery maintenance and winterization.
This event is designed to train new and experienced row crop chemical and fertilizer applicators with skills to efficiently and safely apply products under Indiana conditions. Commercial Applicator and Certified Crop Adviser Credits have been applied for.
