Help Distribute Food Boxes

When the call for help went out for people to help lift and carry 2600 boxes of food that weighed 25 pounds, the Jr. Leaders stepped up and helped. Heat, rain, and face coverings didn’t deter them from helping Catholic Charities unload trucks with donated boxes of dairy and produce. Cars lined up at St. Paul’s Church as volunteers carried these boxes to vehicles.

The Farmers to Families Food Box Distribution provides a market to farmers and food to families in need. The next distribution of food boxes will be on July 20 at St. Paul’s Church in Tell City at and at John Paulin Park in Cannelton at 4:30 p.m. and at Branchville United Methodist Church at 5:00 p.m. Food will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. There are no income or age restrictions.
