In partnership with Purdue Extension, US Forest Service, Lawrence County Soil & Water, USDA, and Indiana DNR, the Bedford Parks Department will continue thier Park Outdoor Series for 2023.
January 24 at 6pm: "Classics of Southern Indiana Cave Exploration" Program will take place at the Otis Park Bath House with guest speaker, Carroll Ritter.
February 28 at 6pm: "Walking with Friends in Interesting Places-Volswalks" Program will take place at the Otis Park Bath House with guest speaker, Teena Ligman.
March 28 at 6pm: "Surveyor's Snapshot of Indiana Forest in the Early 1800's" Program will take place at the Otis Park Bath House with guest speaker, A.J. Ariens, Indiana DNR Forest Archaeologist.
April 25 at 6pm: "Magnificent Trees of Indiana" Program will take place at the Otis Park Bath House with guest speaker, Carroll Ritter.
May 24 at 6pm: "Backyard Composting" Program will take place at the Community Garden, 416 H St., Bedford, with guest speakers from the Soil & Water Conservation District.
June 28 at 6pm: "Take a Stroll through History-Northside Historic District" Program will meet at the Episcopal Church, 1219 14th St., Bedford, with guest speakers, Teena Ligman & Marla Jones.
