The Steady Stitchers are a speciality club as part of our LaPorte County Extension Homemakers who sew many different items to donate to various organizations in the county. They are located at 1640 First Street in LaPorte and have hours of Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The group holds several Lend-A-Hand days that are open to anyone in the community that would like to help sew projects for their clients. No sewing experience is necessary, they will teach you or they always have non-sewing projects that they need help with as well.
Please call the Purdue Extension Office at 219-324-9407 for more information.
