2021 FairEntry Instructions

We look forward to seeing all of your wonderful 4-H projects soon! Before you bring your projects to judging, we have one final hurdle as we head into fair season. You must pre-register your 4-H project exhibits for the Hancock County 4-H Fair on the 4-H FairEntry system. Not sure when your projects need to be turned in for judging? FairEntry (https://hancock.fairentry.com) works with the 4HOnline system, so families will use their 4HOnline profiles and passwords. You will not have to create another password. 4-H’ers will need to register each “exhibit” or “project” they plan to bring to the 4-H Fair in the FairEntry system. This will be the way the Extension Office prepares the check-in/judging sheets and records the fair results.

Think of this system like this: Anything that gets entered and judged at our 4-H Fair should be pre-registered in Fair Entry. It is easier for us to scratch projects than add them so please register all projects that you intend to bring.

This process must be completed by June 10, 2021. The required entry system will allow you to be eligible for State Fair exhibits and for printing of your results in the newspaper. Please find the instructions to guide you through the entry attached below. You may start entering members’ information, just do not submit until you have completed all 4-H members in the family. Note for some reason this system will state that there is a fee, however when you get to the end of the entry it will show a zero charge – there is NO FEE. If you have any questions or need assistance in any way, we will be happy to help. If you run into a question, you may skip and go on to another entry and your items will be saved. You may contact us at 317-462-1113 during office hours, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. When you have everything completed in Fair Entry, please be sure to submit your entries. If you accidentally submit before you were finished please give us a call so we can approve your current entries and allow you to begin a new invoice.
