Through the generosity of Duke Energy and Indiana 4-H Foundation, Hancock County 4-H was gifted a makers kit.  The kit included a collection of interactive and scientific educational gadgets with the purpose of encouraging youth to explore STEM-related (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) topics.  Hancock County 4-H hosted an open house on January 30, 2020 and made the makers kit available to local youth. These kits allow youth to explore science through working with materials that they would not typically have at home.
