Each County Extension Program in Indiana is supported by the work of a County Extension Board which provides guidance on the overall direction of programming within the community.

Extension Board Members:

Attend meetings held four times per year.
Talk and listen to key stakeholders to assess the needs of community.
Advise extension staff on community needs
Assist in planning of annual extension meeting to highlight successful programming
Provide feedback on hiring of new Extension Educators.
Serve on special committees as needed.
Provide feedback through annual program review.
Support and encourage Extension staff in programming efforts.
Serve as advocates for Purdue Extension in the community.
Help promote Purdue Extension and local programming efforts.
