Purdue University’s College of Agriculture will host its Weed Science Field Day on Thursday, June 27, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Throckmorton Purdue Agricultural Center. Researchers and graduate students will educate participants about the newest data in weed science research at the free event.
“Current weed science graduate students will present their cutting-edge research projects, which include weed control in early planted soybeans, drone sprayer applications, precision weed control tactics and new herbicide formulations,” said Bill Johnson, Purdue professor of weed science.
Those interested in weed science, including farmers, industry professionals and students, are invited to attend. Participants can either register online or at the event.
