2025 Invasive Species

Stewarding Healthy Landscapes - Controlling Invasive Species

Invasive species are a major threat to Indiana's ecosystems and economy, causing significant harm to native plants, animals, and habitats. These non-native species often out-compete and displace native species. This educational offering is part of Purdue Extension's Invasive Species Signature Program.

In this year's 3-session series, you'll learn:

  • Introduction to invasive species; reporting and tracking invasive species
  • Invasive species in the home landscape
  • Native plants for the home landscape

Light refreshments will be available each night. The course fee is $45
