Washington County Open Goat Show
The Washington County Goat Association and Washington County Fair Board are hosting an Open Goat Show on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Washington County Fairgrounds Goat Barn (118 Fair St., Salem).
There will be classes for both dairy and meat breeds of goats including breeding does, market does, market wethers, and showmanship. Goats may start arriving at 7:00 am. Weigh-in is from 7:00-9:00 am. The show will start at 11:00 am with dairy goat showmanship classes. The Washington County Open Sheep Show is also on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Washington County Fairgrounds Livestock Pavilion with registration from 8:00-10:00 am and the show beginning at 12:30 pm. Contact the Purdue Extension – Washington County Office for more information.
Concessions will be available.
The public is invited to come watch the show.
