Design A T-shirt For 4-H Showcase
Help Marion County 4-H design t-shirts for our annual 4-H Showcase in July! Participate in the t-shirt design contest by submitting an 8.5” x 11” design that relates to the theme "Art & Nature". Maximum two artwork entries per 4-H member.
T-Shirt Design Contest Rules
Theme: Art & Nature
Who can enter: Currently enrolled Marion County 4-H members (grades 3-12) and Cloverbuds (grades K-2).
Presentation: You may use any medium - paints, photography, colors, digital designs, etc. A design with one or two colors is ideal. Your preferred t-shirt color will be considered. Design must include the front of the t-shirt; back design is optional. Keep in mind that highly detailed graphics may not screen print well. Designs should include an official 4-H Clover logo and "Marion County, IN".
Entries: All artwork must be original. All other work will be disqualified. Maximum of two artwork entries per 4-H member.
Deadline to enter: Entries must be received by Wednesday, April 17, 2024 by 4:00 p.m.
How to enter: Complete the entry form linked below, follow the instructions above to complete your design(s) on a sheet of paper no larger than 8.5" x 11". Mail your design and entry form to the 4-H office at ATTN: 4-H, 1202 E 38th St, Discovery Hall Suite 201, Indianapolis, IN 46205, or email to marion4h@purdue.edu.
Winner: The t-shirt design for 2024 will be selected by a subcommittee of the Marion County 4-H Fair Committee.
Award: The contest winner will receive their designed t-shirt.

All of these are made to be competent 2-D graphic design platforms that aren’t focused so much on photo editing like Adobe Photoshop and more focused on ground-up designs.
