Master Gardener Training
We're excited to announce another Extension Master Gardener training happening Spring 2025! This will be both a virtual and in-person training in collaboration with LaGrange, Noble, and Whitley counties, with sessions led by multiple experts and professionals. The training covers various horticultural topics including ornamental plants, growing fruits and vegetables, soil health, invasive species, plant pests, and much more. The program aims to train volunteers to spread horticultural knowledge throughout the community. Both the virtual and in-person classes are required to be considered as having completed the Extension Master Gardener Training. Upon completing the course, there will be a written exam to become a master gardener intern. Interns can then volunteer in the community to become master gardeners.
The cost is $185.00, which covers the entire class and a printed manual.
