Earth Day

Tuesday, April 22, 2025 is the 55th anniversary of Earth Day. We invite everyone to support Earth Day’s 2025 theme: OUR POWER, OUR PLANET.

There are many ways you can get involved and make a difference for our planet on Earth Day and every day. Join millions worldwide in Earth Day 2025 activities. Attend a local event or plan and register your own. Opportunities to participate in Your Area:

April 24th, Earth Day in Marion County
The City of Marion Parks Department and Marion Utilities would like to invite you to participate in our 2025 Earth Day celebration! This year’s event will be on Thursday , April 24 from 4-7pm at the Gardens of Matter Park. If you would like to be a vendor for the event contact Melissa Rogers.

April 25th, Purdue Day of Service
Make campus shine for commencement by helping with perennial planting, spring cleanup, and mulching. Volunteers will be provided with an exclusive event T-shirt and all necessary equipment. Free bottled water will be available.

April 27th, CoAg Faculty & Staff Community Volunteering w/ NICHES Land Trust
Join us as honor Earth Day by pulling invasive garlic mustard at a local nature preserve as part of Niches’ Annual War of the Weeds. Get more information and register on the event page
