Master Gardener Seminars at the 4-H Fair to Highlight Backyard Wildlife

You're invited to the Whitley County Master Gardeners' annual seminars on Monday, July 15 at the 4-H fair!

They start at 1 pm at the Agricultural Museum at the Whitley County 4-H Fairgrounds - it's free and open to the public. There are plenty of seats, air conditioning, and interesting topics to learn about:

1 pm - Backyard Gardening and Landscaping for Birds, by Jessica Outcalt, Cass County Ag and Natural Resources/Community Development Extension Educator. Jessica will be presenting information on birds, bird watching, and providing information on creating wildlife-friendly home gardens and landscapes.

2 pm - Wildlife Photography, by Randy Myers, Former Teacher and Wildlife Enthusiast. Randy will be sharing breathtaking pictures of wildlife surrounding his home and other amazing places. Randy has been taking pictures of his outside environment for at least 20 years.

3 pm - Plants For Them and Plants For Us in Northeast Indiana, by Lucy Mary, Master Naturalist from Merry Lea Educational Learning Center of Goshen College. Learn about plants that benefit wildlife and plants for us to consider for our home landscapes.
