
2022-2023 Indiana Master Cattleman Program
Purdue Extension is seeking participants for the 2022-2023 Indiana Master Cattleman program hosted in Jackson County on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-9:00 pm starting December 6, 2022 and ending March 7, 2023, with March 14, 2023 as a snow make-up date.
The Indiana Master Cattleman program is an 11-week program designed to assist beef cattle producers improve profitability through an increase in production efficiency, forage utilization, reproductive success, genetic selection, herd health, and business management.
The fee to participate is $200/person. Additional attendees from the same farm are $100/person. Participants will receive Indiana Master Cattleman educational materials, Forage Field Guide, Cow-Calf Production in the U.S. Corn Belt, soil analysis, and forage analysis.
Class size is limited to 25 and registration is due by Tuesday, November 29, 2022 by completing an application and returning it to the Purdue Extension offices in Jackson, Lawrence, or Washington Counties. For more information contact:
