Home Food Preservation Workshops

The canning season is upon us and what better time to learn how to preserve food safely.  Home Food Preservation Workshops are being offered on Tuesdays, August 16, 23, 30 from 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM CT at Purdue Extension-Lake County, 2291 N. Main St., Crown Point, IN 46307.  The fee for this 3-session series is $75.00.  Space is limited; therefore, paid reservations will be accepted in the order received.  No refunds.

Each session will include a lecture, hands-on food preservation, and an interactive discussion on food preservation related topics.  These sessions will be presented by Linda Curley, Health and Human Sciences Educator.
