Johnnie Mae Farm Tour

Johnnie Mae Farm is hosting tours as part of Local Food Week at 6pm on July 29 and 6pm on July 31. This is a great opportunity to see how produce can be grown in the city and learn about the challenges facing urban food production.

Purdue Extension staff will guide visitors through the history of the farm, a look at the commercial-grade kitchen in the renovated fire station, and finish with a stroll through the farm. Tips and tricks for growing in urban areas will be shared along the way.

Registration is preferred at https://bit.ly/3wURn3t. Questions about the tours can be directed to James Wolff, County Extension Director, at jmwolff@purdue.edu or 260-481-6826.

Purdue University is an equal opportunity/equal access/affirmative action university. Please notify Purdue Extension staff by July 25 if you need reasonable accommodations to participate in this event.
