Forestry Field Day in Whitley County
Forestry Field Day this year will be held on Saturday, October 5th. Forestry professionals will conduct a forestry tour to highlight the management practices of a Purdue University forest property, Harrold Woodland, that's located just west of Etna in northwest Whitley County. Learn various management and enrichment strategies for a young forest. This event is hosted by Purdue Forestry & Natural Resources Department, Purdue Extension, Indiana DNR Division of Forestry, and Indiana Forestry & Woodland Owners Association.
