Venison Processing Workshops

The Purdue Cooperative Extension Service and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Fish & Wildlife are once again hosting their popular September workshops on processing venison. Watch and listen as Purdue Extension Educators butcher and prepare the deer for participants to taste. This program has something for everyone... young, old, experienced or novice. 

Topics include:

  • Demonstration of Complete Deer Processing including skinning, butchering and cooking techniques.
  • Quick & Easy Venison Recipes - watch as we prepare delicious venison recipes right in front of you! You'll get to sample everything we prepare!
  • Food Safety & Deer Health.
