National Trails Day

National Trails Day is an annual event hosted by the American Hiking Society that celebrates all trails on public lands.

Place on your calendars this event which will be held June 1, 2024, at the Youngs Creek Trailhead, Hoosier National Forest, and will consist of guided hikes, educational booths, hands-on activities and give-aways all related to healthy forests and watersheds.  Participants can also hike the trails on their own.  812-277-6877 for questions. Sponsors include: Hoosier National Forest and the Patoka Lake Watershed Steering Committee.
