Applications are now available for Summer 2024. This paid internhip is mid-May to mid-August, with a preference for former Cass County 4-H alumni who have been graduated for more than one year.

New in 2024: the Cass County Exntesion internship is expanding. While the internship focuses on the 4-H Youth Development and 2024 Cass County Fair preperation and management, their are oppurtunities to explore the other areas of Extension, including Heath & Human Sciences, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Community Development and the Cooperative Extension Services.

Kyla Mennen

2023 Summer Intern

Kyla served as Cass County's 2023 Summer Intern. She earned her Associate's Degree in Agriculture Business from Joliet College, where she was also President of the a Student Ag Association and was a member of the livestock judging team. Kyla is attending Kansas State University this Fall Ag Business and will be part of the livestock judging team at K-State.
