The 4-H Alfalfa project encourages engagement in livestock crop production. Youth will learn about production as they grow at least one acre of alfalfa and possibly exhibit the rewards of their labor in the form of an alfalfa hay bale. Life skills such as keeping records, resiliency, and character are gained through the hands-on Alfalfa project.
