At-Home Activities for Kids
The Purdue Extension 4-H Youth Development team has gathered resources to support families and kids while our communities practice social distancing due to COVID-19.
The objectives of the Animal Sciences Workshops include to teach the scientific principles of Animal Sciences, to increase awareness of Animal Industry Issues and to inform about careers in animal agriculture and educational opportunities at Purdue University. The four workshop sections include: Food Animal workshop which can highlight various topic areas including beef, dairy, sheep, goat, swine, poultry, rabbit and aquaculture); Horse and Companion Animal (horse, dog, cat, llama and zoo animals); Animal Health; and Animal Bio-Science. This workshop is open to 4-H club members in grades 9-12.
