The Animal Sciences Workshops objectives include to teach the scientific principles of Animal Sciences, to increase awareness of Animal Industry Issues and to inform about careers in animal agriculture and educational opportunities at Purdue University. The five workshop sections include: Food Animal 1 (beef, dairy, sheep and goat); Food Animal 2 (swine, poultry, rabbit and aquaculture); Horse and Companion Animal (horse, dog, cat, llama and zoo animals); Animal Health; and Animal Bio-Science. This workshop is open to 4-H club members in grades 9-12.
