Download a product sign to display at your Farmers' Market below. We offer two types of FoodLink QR code signs you can print and display in your market.
The Point of Sale sign includes the name of the item and a QR code.
The Customizable sign also includes space where you can enter your price or other information
FoodLink’s goal is your goal: To increase knowledge and awareness (and sales) of locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables.
Launched by Purdue Extension in 2016, FoodLink has expanded quickly. It now features more than 60 fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and honey, and 200-plus easy, tasty recipes.
The key is a QR code. A consumer (shopper) sees a food item — broccoli, for example. By pointing a cellphone at the QR code display, the shopper is connected to the FoodLink website. Pictures and text tell the shopper all about broccoli — including how to cook it. Shoppers have questions. FoodLink has answers.
As a first-time enrollee, you will receive a complimentary FoodLink kit loaded with marketing materials to promote the program in your venue. We have two kits — one for farmer markets with multiple vendors, and one for single location retailers, such as grocery stores and roadside stands. Also, we have a packet of information for teachers, community gardens, food pantries and other groups that help youth or adults make better food choices.
Your kit will be delivered to the address you put on the enrollment form.
When you need more free marketing materials, you have two options:
