4-H Foods Project

Everyone likes to eat - so let's learn how to prepare those tasty foods. You will start will cookies and advance to yeast breads and other products. You will learn about the food groups and how to plan a well-balanced meal for the day. This is a fun project to help you learn how to bake. You can also learn about the processes used to preserve food, both freezing and canning. You will discover how to properly prepare foods to be preserved and which method is the best to use.
