Are you interested in forage for livestock, pasture management, weed control, and hay production? Dr. Keith Johnson, Purdue Extension Forage Specialist, will be there to discuss these practices. We will also have Natural Resource Conservation Service Grazing Specialist, Susannah Hinds, on hand to discuss NRCS funding opportunities available for livestock related operations.
The objectives of the Tipton County 4-H Horse and Pony project is to help 4-H members develop leadership, initiative, self-reliance and sportsmanship. An important objective of this project is for the 4-H member to experience the pride of owning or leasing a horse or pony and being responsible for its care and management.
