If you have a strong interest in gardening and enjoy helping others, you are invited to become a Purdue University Extension Master Gardener volunteer. Switzerland and Jefferson County offices of the Purdue Extension Service are announcing the formation of the 2017 Master Gardener training series, which will begin in January 2017 and continue every Monday night through April 2017. Training hours are 6 pm to 9 pm and the training sessions will be held at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.

The Extension office is launching a new program this week called the Bicentennial Walking Challenge for Switzerland County!
