Curb Your Urge to Splurge

Week 2 Day 4

Irma likes the "track as you go" method, but doesn't always follow through every day.  This method is a spreadsheet that can done manually or digitally and you keep track every day of what you spend on holiday items.  Columns on your spreadsheet could include date, store, item(s) purchased, cost, cash or credit and gift receiver.  The secret to using this method is to keep it up-to-date every day.  If you want real-time updates on where your money is going, then an app may be your  best method of tracking.  There are many, many apps to choose from, so be sure to read the fine print before using one.  Free apps may include BillGuard, Dollarbird, Fudget, Goodbudget, LearnVest, Mint, mvelopes, Wallaby and Wally. #Curbyoursplurge
