Dear 4-H Members and Parents,
It is time to go camping for 3rd - 8th Graders! The camp counselors and staff of Daviess, Dubois, Martin, Perry, and Spencer Counties have put a great deal of effort into planning this year's 4-H Camp. The dates for camp this year are Monday, June 6th through Wednesday, June 8th. Camp will take place at the Santa Claus Campground on Highway 245 north of Santa Claus. 4-H Camp can provide fun experiences and allow youth to bond with members from different counties. W
The 2016 Dressed Pet Parade will be held Saturday July 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.

The Avian Influenza outbreak in Dubois County has brought the word "biosecurity" into our daily news. What is biosecurity? Webster's dictionary defines biosecurity as: security from exposure to harmful biological agents; also : measures taken to ensure this security. While biosecurity is generally thought of in terms of preventing animal disease outbreaks, it is broader than livestock. Even home gardeners need to be aware of biosecurity precautions they should take.
