The Purdue Master Gardener Program is an integral part of the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service and provides the residents of Indiana a chance to grow. Under the guidance and support of Purdue Extension, selected residents of a county voluntarily begin a training program specifically designed to prepare them to help others grow.
The weather is warming up and some have started working in the lawn, while many others are itching to get started very soon. After all, there's a lot to do, right? Actually, your â€œto doâ€ list should be fairly short right now: pick-up sticks, get your mower ready and mow when the grass begins to grow. Many other spring lawn activities can be delayed, and at least one common task can probably be eliminated.
