Please join IN-PREPared along with Purdue Extension – Martin County CED, Dena Held in welcoming our guest speakers Mr. Jimmy Merry, IN ARRL Section Manager, and Mr. Jim Moehring. 

This webinar will focus on the collaboration between Purdue Extension, your local Emergency Management Agency, and ARRL during a disaster event to establish communication when traditional landlines and cellular networks fail. Additional resources will be presented by ARRL involving collection of routine weather data and storm events. 

The ARRL is the national association for Amateur Radio in the United States.  Founded in 1914 by Hiram Percy Maxim as The American Radio Relay League, ARRL is a noncommercial organization of radio amateurs.  The ARRL is defined by five pillars: Public Service, Advocacy, Education, Technology, and Membership.
