The Washington County Conservation Partnership is hosting a free Beginning Farmer Breakfast on Saturday, November 13, 2021 for new and beginning farmers. This event is co-sponsored by Washington Co. Soil & Water Conservation District, Purdue Extension – Washington Co., Washington Co. Farm Bureau Inc., Natural Resources Conservation Service, and USDA. These organizations will provide attendees with information about the programs and services that each have to offer for beginning farmers.
Breakfast and registration begin at 7:30 AM on Saturday, November 13 at the Washington Co. Government Building Meeting Room (806 Martinsburg Rd., Salem). Participants are required to RSVP to the Washington Co. SWCD by Wednesday, November 10 at 812-883-3006, ext. 3 or by email to jill.roll@in.nacdnet.net.
