Extension offers Permaculture Virtual Grower Panel of Local Experts Q & A Session
CROWN POINT, Ind. – Purdue Extension-Lake County will host a virtual
permaculture video tour series and bring interested parties together to learn more about
permaculture. Registrants will have their questions answered by a virtual grower panel
of local experts. Permaculture tour videos will be sent to registrants for viewing before
the virtual Grower Q & A Panel session.
Permaculture is "the conscious design and maintenance of agriculturally productive
systems which have the diversity, stability, and resilience of natural ecosystems"- Bill
Mollison.
Purdue Extension-Lake County will hold two virtual events at no cost to registrants.
Certified Permaculture Designer, Amee Waltman will present Permaculture Basics and
History on Wednesday, March 9 from 6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. CST. Registration deadline is
March 8, 2022. Part two of the virtual series is scheduled for Sunday, March 13 from
1:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. CST with Grower Q & A Panel. Registration deadline is March 11.
