Master Gardener Intern Program 2022

Marshall County Will Be offering two educational opportunities to become a Master Gardener Intern in the Spring of 2022.

A virtual state wide Purdue Master Gardener Series will be offered on Tuesday nights (2 hours) formal presentation and on Wednesday nights (1 hour) to ask questions and gain a local perspective of the topics. Topics taught on Tuesday nights will cover all basic horticulture topics over 15 educational sessions. The presenter will be selected based upon their expertise on a given topic like soil science.  Wednesday night presenters with be local educators. By taking this class and attending sessions to earn 35 educational hours and passing the exam you will become a Master Gardener intern

The second option is an in person day series at the Marshall County Extension Office on Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.  There will be fifteen sessions starting on February 10.  There will be snacks available to cover your noon lunch break.  Robert Yoder, Marshall County Extension Educator will cover most of the topics with some guest speakers.  This series will include hands on activities  and outdoor options to complement classroom presentations.
