ff4h-social-media-logo-01.pngFood, Fun, 4-H is a free, at home cooking program that unites families in the kitchen and at the dinner table. This program gets young people in the kitchen and provides experience preparing home cooked meals, trying new foods, encouraging family time, developing communication skills, and having fun!

In partnership with Lost River Market & Deli and IU Center for Rural Engagement, Purdue Extension-Lawrence County's 4-H Youth Development Educator and Community Wellness Coordinator will offer a once a month, Meal Kit Program.

Months of:

July    -    August    -    September    -    October

Steps to complete:

  1. Once the Meal Kit is picked up, your family will need to prepare the meal following the recipe(s) provided.

  2. You will need to virtually share two photos:

    1. One photo preparing the recipes

    2. One photo of your family at meal time

  3. Answer three questions about your cooking and mealtime experiences.

What’s in it for you?

Don't forget! Upon completion of the program, if the family has participated all four months, those of 4-H age, will be awarded a free 4-H enrollment. They will also receive a cookbook along with the knowledge and ability to create a meal together as a family.
