Harrison County Junior Leaders and Ambassadors invited 28 local teens of Harrison County to an Etiquette Dinner Workshop at the 1816 Modern Kitchen & Drinks in downtown Corydon on February 15. Chef Scott Dickenson and his team prepared and served an excellent meal. The Junior Leaders chose 1816 Modern Kitchen & Drinks because it is locally owned, and focuses on providing fresh food from local farms and gardens. Etiquette Enrichment Life Coach, Sallie Plass, led the business etiquette workshop during dinner. This will enrich teens by helping them make relationships, gain self-confidence, and learn how to be more successful in their careers and social settings. The dinner was sponsored by 1816, the Harrison County 4-H Council, and Creekside Trains & Antiques.

The responsibility of leadership, the challenge of assisting others, and the opportunity to expand personal experiences are the objectives of the Junior Leader project. Junior Leaders must be in grade 7 or above. The Harrison County Junior Leaders is member led, and focuses on providing both county, area, and state opportunities to develop personal leadership skills.Interested in learning more about Harrison County Junior Leaders?
