Happy Spring!
Please be aware of the important deadlines that are approaching! If you are showing an animal, besides rabbits or poultry, make sure they are all entered in 4-H online by May 15th. If you plan to take them to the state fair, please make sure DNA envelops are returned to the office by May 15th. (You can pick up envelops from the office or some leaders/at workshops and weigh-ins). All projects, including static, need to be entered in Fair Entry by June 4th, which will not open until May 1st. Failure to do so could result in the inability to participate in that project for the 2024 fair. More instructions to follow.
Do you want to volunteer?
We are always looking for help! Please let Rebecca or Stephenie know if you would like to assist with the plant sale, set up or clean up of the fair, or judges assistants. We cannot do it without you and we greatly appreciate what you are doing for the kids and the program!
Upcoming Programs:
It is not too late to register for the health challenge! Youth who participate in this self paced challenge have the chance to win prizes like air pods and fitness gear! More information inside. We are also still taking registrations for 4-H camp for youth in grades 3-6. This is a great opportunity for youth to meet kids from other counties, try new things, and just have fun. The best part, it is only $50 for 3 days and 2 nights! Invite your friends, family, and even your neighbors. Youth will have to be enrolled in 4H to register. Last, there are many state trips coming up like Academy and Roundup. Keep reading for more on these opportunities.
Have a great idea for a program or a project workshop? Let us know and we will see what we can do to get one scheduled!
Thank you!
