Congratulations to the 15 graduates of Leadership Clinton County 2016 on completing 44 hours of training in conflict management, navigating difference, interpersonal communication and leadership style analysis, while gaining exposure to how economic development, education, healthcare and local government work in Clinton County.

The Clinton County Community Foundation supplied the seed funding for this program with the hope that it will continue every year with the guidance of the 8-person Leadership Clinton County Advisory Board. Many local businesses sponsored meals for the combined Leadership Clinton County/Industry Leaders Lunches, including The Learning Network of Clinton County, Clinton County Historical Society & Museum, Schultz IGA, Bridy’s Bakery, Clinton County Jail, Wesley Manor, ConAgra/Ryder and St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. Fifty community members contributed their time from January-May 2016 to share their expertise with our county’s emerging leaders through a variety of discussion panels, local tours, planned simulations and hands-on experiences.

These 15 graduates will gather during the Clinton County Fair under an alumni tent for those interested in becoming part of Leadership Clinton County 2017, which will begin in January.
