This is a reminder that the 4-H Sheep weigh in is set for Friday, May 13th at the Fairgrounds in the north end of the Sheep Barn at 6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. as stated in the newsletter. Make sure you bring your Premise ID number. If you do not have a premise number you may contact BOAH (317-544-2381) to request this number.

Our annual Junior Leader Lock-In will be on Friday, May 6th at the fairgrounds from 7:00 p.m. until midnight.
Come watch and learn how to prepare seasonal produce for July and September. Purdue Extension, Soil & Water Conservation District, and the Morgan County Farmer's Market will teach how to grow, select, and cook featured items in your garden!
The Master Gardener program is designed to help educate the public about gardening through the use of trained, certified volunteers. The program helps participants to grow by providing them with training in horticulture principles. They, in turn, agree to share their knowledge and help others grow.
The Agriculture & Natural Resources Newsletter is Morgan County's source of information regarding county, area, and state level programs. It also provides pertinent and up-to-date information regarding horticulture, commercial agriculture, and natural resources.
Purdue's Beginning Farmer and Rancher program is offering new and aspiring farmers an opportunity to visit 10 Indiana agribusinesses and learn from Purdue Extension educators, producers and other experts about topics ranging from organic produce to aquaponics. The series of tours runs from May through October and includes stops throughout the state.
