Natural Resources/Ecology Club Field Day

What: Monroe County 4-H Natural Resources/Ecology Club
When: Saturday, April 29, 2017, 10am - 4pm (rain or shine)

Flatwoods Park  (9499 Flatwoods Road, Gosport, IN 47433)

Details: Our focus will be: What makes a habitat healthy: Perspectives form below the ground surface to the top of the tallest trees? You will participate in field observation/sampling activities with professionals from the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service, US Fish & Wildlife Service, Indiana Department of Natural Resources - Division of Forestry, and the Monroe County Stormwater Services.

Email Mary Beth King at king413@purdue.edu to reserve your space by April 21st! Be sure to pack a lunch and wear weather appropriate clothing. We will be investigating wetlands and the stream, so rain boots are preferred footwear. This is open to 4-H members and non4-H members. The cost for this event is $20 for non4-H members and no fee is required for 4-H members. Space is limited to 40 participants.  Registration will start at 9:30am on the day of the event.
